Come and learn in the interpretative area of the bear caves (The Bear Cave and the museum in Tella), where you can find out how this endangered species lived 9.000 years ago. Also see the Pyrenean area and how people have been excavating the rests of this site, which is more than 30.000 years old.

A pleasant walk through stalactites and stalagmites that leads us to the site of the rests of the bears in the caves, where we can observe them in the same place where they´ve been found. The visit of the cave will be completed by the different aspects of its physic surrounding (Geomorphology, flora and fauna) and its cultural surrounding (prehistory, the history of the Pyrenees, habits, etc…)


The visits are always accompanied by the people of TT-adventure. The length of the visit is about 90 minutes (maximum). The access to the entry of the cave will take about 15 minutes walking upwards, is a mountain path so you have to be prepared with good walking shoes. Inside the cave we will spend a maximum of one hour. Although the cave is slightly lit, TT-adventure will provide helmets with lights, so you will lose no detail.


The minimum age to participate in the visits of the cave, is three years old. The village of Tella, the route of the chapels of Tella, the visitor’s centre of the National Park of Ordesa, the museum of the witches and the landscape invite the visitor to spend a full day in Tella.
